Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner

I struggled with chronic daily migraines for years before finding functional medicine and discovering undiagnosed Lyme disease, gut dysfunction, and hormonal imbalances that had gone unaddressed. That experience is why I practice the way I do. Read my full story →

How I practice.

I believe the most effective care comes from a balanced integration of functional and conventional medicine. I am not anti-medication and I am not anti-conventional care. I have full prescribing authority as a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner and I use every tool available when it is the right one, including pharmaceuticals when they are genuinely needed.

What I am against is stopping at the symptom when the root cause is findable.

My approach is built on three things:

Time. Your initial visit is 90 minutes. Follow-up visits are 30 to 60 minutes. There is no rushing through your history, no skimming your labs, no standardized protocol handed to you at the end. The time is there because the complexity of what we are investigating requires it.

Data. Every recommendation I make is tied to something specific in your labs, your history, or your presentation. I do not believe in guessing. Comprehensive, targeted testing tells us what is actually happening in your body — and makes the plan that much more precise.

Education. I go through every piece of your data with you, line by line. Not because it is efficient, but because a patient who understands their own health can advocate for themselves, make better decisions, and maintain their results long after our work together is done. That is the point. My goal is not to keep you as a patient indefinitely. It is to help you heal — and then help you maintain that healing on your own.

For Women

Hormones, thyroid, fertility, gut health, autoimmune conditions, and fatigue: the conditions women are most often told are "normal" when they're not. We take the time to look for what's actually driving your symptoms, not just manage them.

For Men

Fatigue, low testosterone, metabolic changes, and fertility concerns deserve the same root-cause investigation we bring to women's health. We look at hormones, metabolic markers, and lifestyle factors to build a plan specific to you, including natural, longevity-focused approaches to aging well as those markers shift over time.

For Kids

From unexplained growth or gut concerns to general wellness visits, we take time to look at the full picture — diet, development, and symptoms that don't yet have an explanation.

(Note: vaccines are not administered in our office.)

Preconception Care, for Couples

Planning to conceive is a two-person process. We offer joint visits where both partners are evaluated together — hormones, nutrition, and lifestyle factors for each of you — so you're building a foundation for conception as a team, not separately.

Prenatal Care

Planning a hospital birth doesn't mean giving up the midwifery model along the way. Elizabeth brings her CNM training into every prenatal visit: longer appointments, real listening, and care that treats pregnancy as more than a checklist. You'll still need your own labor and delivery provider, but your prenatal visits don't have to feel rushed to get there.

Longevity, for Women & Men

Hormones and metabolism shift with age, for both women and men. The same root-cause approach applies to aging well, not just addressing symptoms as they come up. We look at what's actually driving fatigue, weight changes, and low vitality, and build a plan to support how you feel and function for the long run.

A clear path. Not a revolving door.

Most functional medicine practices keep you returning indefinitely. I work with you intensively for 6–12 months — then you maintain your health on your own. Here is exactly what that looks like.

Step 1 —

Your Full Story

Up to 90 minute

We start by going deep. Your full health history, your symptoms, your timeline, your goals. Nothing is rushed, nothing is skipped. You'll leave with initial recommendations, a nutrition and lifestyle plan to start on, and a personalized testing order based on your specific picture.

Step 2 —

Comprehensive Testing

After your first visit

Lab work and functional testing are ordered based on what your history tells us to look for. This is targeted and specific to you — not the same panel ordered for every patient. Results are reviewed in full at your next visit, line by line, together.

Step 3 —

Data Review & Your Plan

60-minute visit

We go through every result together. You will understand what each number means, why it matters for you, and how it connects to how you've been feeling. Then we build your personalized protocol, including diet, lifestyle, supplements, etc., all tied directly to your data.

Step 4 —

Check-In & Refine

30-minute visit, approximately 2 weeks later

Your body is responding. We check in to see what's shifting, answer your questions, and fine-tune the plan based on real feedback. Small adjustments here make a big difference in your results.

Step 5 —

Progress & Optimize

60-minute visit, 2–3 months later

Follow-up labs, a full review of your progress, and optimization. By this point most patients are feeling a meaningful difference, and understanding exactly why. For many, this is where the path to independence begins.

After the initial 6–12 months, most patients move to annual maintenance visits. The goal is always the same: help you heal, then help you maintain it on your own.

No membership fees.

Up front pricing. No surprises.

My goal is not to keep you as a patient forever.
It is to help you heal.

All care is cash-pay — which means no insurance restrictions on what we can test, no limits on how much time we spend together, and a plan built entirely around your needs rather than what a payer will approve.

New patient consultations begin at $275. Package options are available for those committing to the full care process, with savings of 10–20%. Laboratory testing and supplements are separate and individualized to your protocol.
